In the summer months (December to February), temperatures can reach up to 0°C and the days are longer, but the sea ice remains frozen. In the autumn (March to May), temperatures drop and snowfall increases. Winters (June to August) are extremely cold with temperatures below -20°C, accompanied by strong winds and blizzards. Spring (September to November) brings a slight warming, with temperatures rising to around -10°C, and the sea ice begins to break up.
