Lübeck

Lübeck is a city located in the north of Germany, in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. It is situated on the Trave River and is the second largest city in the state. With a population of around 215,000 people, it is one of the most important cities in the region and an important port city.

Lübeck was founded in 1143 and was an important trading city in the Hanseatic League, a medieval alliance of trading cities.
