Kangaamiut is a small town located in the West Coast of Greenland, approximately 80 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. It is situated on the northern shore of the Kangerlussuaq Fjord and is home to approximately 390 inhabitants.

Kangaamiut in Greenland experiences a subarctic climate with cold winters and cool summers.
