New Mangalore

New Mangalore is a port city located in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is situated on the estuary of the Netravati and Gurupura Rivers on the Arabian Sea coast, about 60 kilometers from Mangalore. It is the ninth largest port in India in terms of cargo handling.

New Mangalore is the only port in Karnataka and is an important gateway for the export of coffee, iron ore, and other commodities. It is also a major fishing center and has a number of industries such as steel, chemicals, and shipbuilding.
