Izu-Oshima is an island located in the Izu archipelago in the Philippine Sea, about 100 kilometers south of Tokyo, Japan. It is the largest island in the archipelago and is part of Tokyo Prefecture. It is a volcanic island, with a total area of about 73 square kilometers, and a population of approximately 13,000 people.
