Vilagarcía de Arousa is a municipality located in the Galician province of Pontevedra, in the autonomous community of Galicia, Spain. It is situated on the north coast of the Ria de Arousa estuary, and is the capital of the comarca of O Salnés.
The municipality has a population of approximately 45,000 people and covers an area of about 50 square kilometers. It is well-connected by road, with a direct connection to the A-9 motorway and the AP-9 motorway, as well as regular bus services to nearby towns and cities.
Vilagarcía de Arousa is known for its beautiful landscapes and its rich cultural heritage. The town is home to a number of churches and monuments, including the Church of Santa María, the Church of San Roque, the Church of San Francisco, and the Church of San Bartolomé.
