Safi

Safi is a port city located in the western region of Morocco on the Atlantic Ocean. It is the capital of the Safi Province, and the largest city in the region with a population of around 600,000. The city is known for its traditional pottery and crafts, and is home to the largest fishing port in the country.

Safi is located on a bay at the mouth of the Oued Sebou River, about 200 miles from the capital city of Rabat. The city is a major trading port, with a large industrial zone and a major port for the export of phosphate. It is also an important tourist destination, with a number of historic sites and attractions, including the old Medina, the ancient port of Al-Mina, and the old Jewish Quarter.
