Cabugao is a municipality in the Ilocos Sur province of the Philippines. Located on the western coast of the island of Luzon, it is bordered by the municipalities of Narvacan, Santa and San Esteban to the north, San Vicente to the east, and the South China Sea to the west. It has a total land area of approximately 11,621 hectares and is home to more than 20,000 people.

Cabugao in the Philippines has a tropical climate with two distinct seasons: wet and dry. The wet season runs from May to October and is characterised by heavy rainfall and high humidity, while the dry season is from November to April and is characterised by warm temperatures and little to no rainfall.
