Tanna is an island in the nation of Vanuatu located in the South Pacific Ocean. It is the southernmost island of the archipelago and is approximately 35 kilometers long and 20 kilometers wide. Tanna is located about 500 kilometers east of the capital Port Vila and is part of the Tafea Province. It is a volcanic island with two active volcanoes, Mount Yasur and Mount Tukosmera.
