Costa Smeralda

The Costa Smeralda is a cruise ship operated by Costa Crociere. It was constructed in 2019 by the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland. It measures 323 meters in length, 37 meters in width, and has 18 decks. Of those 18 decks, 16 are accessible to passengers.

The Costa Smeralda is the first cruise ship in the world to be powered by LNG (Liquified Natural Gas) and is the first of Costa Crociere’s “Green Plus” class of ships. It has a capacity of 6,600 passengers and 1,800 crew members.

The ship features a number of attractions, including a 3-deck high atrium, a 4D cinema, a water park, a ropes course, a spa, a casino, and a range of restaurants and bars. There is also a dedicated area for children and teens, with a range of activities and entertainment.
