The Independence of the Seas is one of the largest and most advanced cruise ships in the world, offering a wide range of amenities, including a FlowRider surf simulator, a rock-climbing wall, a miniature golf course, a Royal Promenade with shops, restaurants, and bars, and a 3D movie theater. There are also several pools and hot tubs, a spa, and a fitness center. The ship also has a wide range of cabins and suites, as well as restaurants, bars, and lounges.
