Xiamen is a coastal city in southeastern China, located in Fujian Province. It is situated on the southeastern coast of the Chinese mainland, across the Taiwan Strait from Taiwan. Xiamen is the largest port in Fujian Province and is one of the five Special Economic Zones established in the 1980s.
