The climate in Avarua

Avarua in the Cook Islands has a tropical climate, with warm temperatures all year round. In the summer (November to April) temperatures average between 25-30°C, and in the winter (May to October) temperatures average between 20-25°C. The wet season is from November to April, when the area experiences heavy rainfall, high humidity and occasional tropical storms. The dry season is between May and October, when there is less rainfall and humidity. The Cook Islands are also affected by tropical cyclones from November to April.
