El Hierro

El Hierro is the smallest and most remote of the seven main Canary Islands, located in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Morocco and Western Sahara. It is part of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. El Hierro is a rugged volcanic island, with a total area of just 268 square kilometers. It has a population of around 10,000, making it the least populous of the Canary Islands.
