The climate in Wallis and Futuna, France's Overseas Territory, is tropical with a hot, humid climate all year round. The average temperature is between 22-30°C (71-86°F). During the winter months (May to November) temperatures drop to around 20°C (68°F) with low humidity. Rainfall is abundant throughout the year, with the heaviest rainfall occurring in January and February. The islands are also prone to cyclones during the summer months.
