Norfolk Island is a small island located in the South Pacific Ocean, approximately 1,412 km off the east coast of Australia. It is a self-governing external territory of Australia and is about 8 km long and 5 km wide, with an area of 34.6 km². The island is located between Australia, New Zealand, and New Caledonia.
