Puerto Montt is a port city located in the south of Chile, in the Los Lagos region. It is the capital of the Llanquihue Province, and is the gateway to the Chilean Lake District. Puerto Montt is located at the northern end of the Reloncaví Estuary, and is surrounded by the Andes Mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west.
