Honfleur is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region of France. It is located on the south bank of the estuary of the Seine across from Le Havre and very close to the exit of the Pont de Normandie. The small port of Honfleur is a picturesque town with its colorful old houses, cobbled streets and a harbor lined with fishing boats.

Honfleur is one of the oldest towns in France, with a history dating back to the 11th century. It was a major port of commerce in the Middle Ages, and played an important role in the Hundred Years' War. In the 16th century, Honfleur became a center of shipbuilding and a major port for the French East India Company.
